Latest NewsArdine Nelson and Fred Marsh have each been named Guggenheim fellows for 2008 by the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. Mike Adams is just back from teaching a photo class in Shanghai. His students' work can be seen at www.trft.org/chinaphotoclass. Mike is chair of the Dept. of TV-Radio-Film-Theatre at San Jose State University. His website is www.mikeadams.org. The film was co-directed by John Whitney, co-shot by Scott Spears with and Gil Whitney as Gaffer and featured Chip Kicel acting as a war weary soldier. Jay Woelfel's (BA' 85) first film, Beyond Dreams Door is rereleased on special edition DVD. Tim Gassen (BFA' 85) is the director of the TucsonFilm.com ShortFest Eleanor Block's new book receives recommendation.
